Our Story
A very unique concept
The Wine Room first opened its doors in Winter Park on February 6, 2006. It is a retail wine & cheese shop, a restaurant and a wine bar, all under one roof.
Our wine selection has been recognized by Wine Spectator with its Award of Excellence, and we pair it with one of the finest cheese & charcuterie selections in the country. Our trained staff will recommend the perfect pairing for whatever you pour.
The Experience
Sample the world, one pour at a time
Choose from more than 150 hand-selected wines on our Italian-made Enomatic dispensing machines, whose preservation system guarantees a fresh sample every time. Every wine carries a description, with either the winemaker’s notes or our own tasting notes.

Yes, it really was a bank vault. Today it is a large, chateau-style private room available to rent for parties, business meetings and special occasions, both formal and informal.
